Privacy notice

Last updated 16 September 2026

This notice covers personal data collected through omwsd.co.uk. It is written to be read, not to be survived. If anything here is unclear, email hello@omwsd.co.uk and ask.

01

Who is responsible for your data

OMWSD LTD, a private limited company, limited by shares registered in England and Wales under company number 17452769, registered office 27 Millfield Road, Albrighton, Wolverhampton, WV7 3JN, England. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

Contact for any data protection question: hello@omwsd.co.uk.

02

What this site collects

Only what you type into the contact form. That is your name, your email address, optionally a company name, and the message itself.

There are no analytics, no advertising pixels, no session recording and no third-party trackers on this site. It sets no cookies, which is why you were not asked to consent to any.

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for a short period for security and abuse prevention. The contact endpoint also holds recent request IP addresses in memory for a few minutes to rate-limit submissions; these are not written to disk.

03

Why we hold it, and on what basis

To read your enquiry and reply to it. Nothing else. Your details are not added to a mailing list, not profiled, and not sold or shared for anyone else's marketing.

The lawful basis is legitimate interests (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) — responding to someone who has deliberately contacted a business — and, where the enquiry leads to work, taking steps at your request before entering a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).

04

Who else sees it

Enquiry emails are delivered by Resend and received in our mailbox. Our website hosting provider necessarily processes the request that carries your message. Both act as processors under contract and may not use your data for their own purposes.

Some of these providers operate infrastructure outside the UK. Where that happens, transfers rely on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or an adequacy decision.

We disclose personal data to no one else, other than where the law requires it of us.

05

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 24 months. Where an enquiry becomes a project, the correspondence is kept for the life of that engagement and then for six years, which is the period UK company and tax records must be retained for.

06

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to our use of it, and to receive it in a portable form. Where our basis is legitimate interests, you can object at any time and we will stop unless we have a compelling reason not to.

Email hello@omwsd.co.uk. We respond within one month and there is no charge.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, though we would appreciate the chance to put it right first.

07

Our applications

This notice covers this website only. Software we publish — including Vizione — has its own privacy policy, presented in the application and on its own site, because what an application handles is not what a website handles.

08

Changes

If this notice changes materially we will update the date at the top. We do not quietly rewrite history; earlier versions are available on request.
